Christine Chen

About

Emmy-winning journalist and yoga instructor, she authored Happy-Go-Yoga and founded Christine Chen Yoga. She is also well known as a partner at Chen Communications and the face of the PBS series About The Money with Christine Chen.

Before Fame

She earned her bachelors in English and mass communications theory from the University of California, Berkeley. Shortly after she snagged her first gig as a weather anchor in Great Falls, Montana.

Trivia

After her marriage, she launched the blog Xbox Bride to document her experience marrying a gaming enthusiast.

Family Life

In 2009, she married Hispanic leader and Pepsi executive Richard Velazquez.

She was selected to emcee for President Obama's campaign kickoff event in Seattle in 2006, long before his election.
