She gained fame as a member of The Pussycat Dolls, the burlesque-inspired singing group whose singles "Come to Me" and "Baby Love" became worldwide hits. She won Dancing with the Stars in 2010 and she also appears in the 2012 film Men in Black 3.
She studied musical theater at Wright State University and played a role in Show Boat. One of her first musical gigs was with Eden's Crush.
In 2011, she released the solo album, Killer Love, which featured the hits "Right There," and "Don't Hold Your Breath."
She is the daughter of Alfonso Valiente, who is of Filipino descent, and Rosemary Elikolani, who is of mixed Hawaiian and Russian heritage. In 2015, she began dating tennis player Grigor Dimitrov. She was previously in a long term relationship with Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton.
She performed with
