Sam Mills

About

Linebacker who played in the NFL from 1986 to 1997, mostly for the New Orleans Saints. He was a five-time Pro Bowl selection and four-time All-Pro.

Before Fame

He played college football at Montclair State University, and had a stint in the USFL before he joined the NFL.

Trivia

Immediately following his career he took up a coaching position with the Carolina Panthers, the team he retired with.

Family Life

His son, Sam Mills III, also has worked for the Carolina Panthers.
