About
Second full-length feature film based on the Bayside Shakedown TV series. The action-comedy follows the officers of the Wangan Station of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department five years after the events of the first film. It became the all-time highest-grossing Japanese live-action movie on domestic screens. The film was directed by Katsuyuki Motohiro.
Trivia
The movie was number one at the Japanese box office for nine weeks consecutively. It was produced by the entertainment conglomerate Toho.
