American journalist who is known for his sports coverage for the Los Angeles Times. He specializes in writing profiles for different high profile athletes and has had his work featured in SLAM Magazine, Playboy, Sports Illustrated, Los Angeles Daily News, and the Associated Press.
He attended Arizona State University and the University of Southern California where he wrote a column for the Daily Trojan paper. After earning his degree from the Annenberg School for Communication at USC in 2004, he started working for Sports Illustrated on Campus.
He is known for having taken swimsuit models Damaris Lewis and Kate Upton to a Los Angeles Clippers game in April of 2011 where he recorded Kate Upton doing The Dougie which earned him over one million views on twitter.
He was born in Oklahoma City but was raised in Los Angeles and is of Iranian descent.
