Power forward who became a star at the University of Connecticut and was named a WNBA All-Star as a member of the Connecticut Sun in 2007 and 2009. She has been a member of gold medal-winning U.S. teams at the 2010 FIBA World Championship for Women and 2012 Summer Olympics.

Before Fame

She was named the Star-Ledger New Jersey Girls Basketball Player of the Year at Piscataway Township High School before attending UConn, where she and the Huskies won two NCAA titles and went undefeated in 2002.


She ended her UConn Huskies career having played the most games of any player in school history with 138.

Her father is Otis Forney. She was born in Piscataway, New Jersey.

She was teammates with Diana Taurasi on the undefeated 2001-02 UConn team, widely regarded as one of the greatest teams in women's college basketball history.
