DJ, music producer, and label owner known for albums and releases such as Up All Night, Happiness, Shout, and The Beach Album. He is also known for his Night People NYC label, Tiki Disco party, and remixes for artists including Lana Del Rey, M.I.A, Honey Dijon, and Armand Van Helden.
Before fame
He became interested in DJing as a teenager in the early 1990s and got turntables and practiced at home before he became a professional DJ in 1997. He co-founded the New York dance party Tiki Disco in 2010. His breakthrough came in 2017 when DJ Mag named him Best Breakthrough Producer at its Best of North America Awards.
Trivia
He co-founded the Night People NYC label with Blu Jemz in 2014 and launched it with his debut full-length album Up All Night. He opened the Brooklyn club Gabriela in December 2023 with his childhood friend Rafael Ohayon. He has appeared on platforms including BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, Resident Advisor's Exchange Podcast, Boiler Room, Mixmag's The Lab, and The Lot Radio.
Family life
He was born and raised in New York City, New York and spent his earliest years in the Bronx before growing up in Manhattan. He has a Puerto Rican father and a Greek mother.
