Former soccer player who played in more than 60 match for Paraguay, representing his home country at multiple FIFA World Cups tournaments. Following his playing career, he became the manager of clubs like Rubio Ñú, Olimpia and Cerro Porteño.
He played youth soccer for his hometown club 15 de Mayo. He made his professional debut at age 15.
In his 1996 season playing for Grêmio, he won the Recopa Sudamericana, South American Recup, Brazilian Série A and Rio Grande do Sul State championships.
He has sisters named Maria and Lucia.
He was teammates with Justo Villar Viveros on the Paraguayan national team.
