Puerto Rican author, entrepreneur, health educator, and YouTube personality who was known for being the founder of NaturalSlim along with his educational YouTube channel MetabolismoTV. He was also known being the author of the books The Power of Metabolism, Diabetes Sin Problemas, and Metabolismo Ultra Poderoso.
Before fame
He struggled with obesity from a young age. He experienced bullying as a child and teenager due to his weight and eventually developed health issues such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and pre-diabetes. He tried multiple diets and weight-loss programs without long-term success as an adult which led him to begin researching metabolism, nutrition, and health on his own. He lost more than 50 pounds and improved his health significantly after applying his own methods. He began sharing his knowledge and founded the health and weight-loss company NaturalSlim in 1998. He published his first book The Power of Metabolism in 2006.
Trivia
He created more than 2,000 short educational videos through his MetabolismoTV platform. His book El Poder del Metabolismo became one of the most widely read health books in Puerto Rico at the time. He launched MetabolismoTV in March 2012.
Family life
He was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He had children including Manuel Suárez and Francisco Suárez who have spoken publicly about his life and legacy. He passed away in February 2025 after falling off a balcony.
