Known for both her pop music hit "Sweet Dream" and for her starring roles in such television series as Fated to Love You and Wedding, this South Korean entertainer also coordinated several humanitarian programs and taught at Beijing Huajia University.

Before Fame

She released her debut solo album, First Story, in 2001. Though the recording was not immediately popular, its singles began receiving airtime after she became the star of a situation comedy called New Nonstop.

Trivia

She received a 2010 Foreign Film Best Actress Award for her role as an autistic savant in the movie Sky and Ocean.

Family Life

The daughter of stage actor Ju Heo-Seong, she grew up in Seoul, South Korea and studied theater at Chung-Ang University.

Associated With

She co-starred with Taiwanese actor Jimmy Lin in the 2012 Chinese film Flying With You.
