Before Fame
He played drums throughout Utah's local indie and alternative scene. He was approached by vocalist Josh Harmon about joining the newly formed The Backseat Lovers in 2018. He and the group released their first EP Elevator Days in 2018. He and The Backseat Lovers released their debut album When We Were Friends in 2019. They released their follow up studio album Waiting to Spill in 2022.

He has performed with The Backseat Lovers on multiple late-night TV appearances and festival circuits including Firefly, Hangout Music Festival, and Lollapalooza. He is known for drumming barefoot or in minimalist footwear during live shows. He recorded some of the percussion on Waiting to Spill using unconventional objects like metal tins to create a unique atmosphere.
