Drummer, DJ, and vocalist known as a core member of the dance-punk band LCD Soundsystem and for his contributions to their albums This Is Happening, The Long Goodbye: LCD Soundsystem Live at Madison Square Garden, and American Dream. He is also known for co-leading the music duo Museum of Love.
Before Fame
He was the original drummer of the art-punk group Les Savy Fav. He appears on the band's 1997 debut album 3/5. He joined LCD Soundsystem in the mid 2000s. He and LCD released their first album This Is Happening in 2010.
Trivia
He co-launched Special Disco Version, a DJ night which toured throughout the United States. He is credited on the studio session album The Atomic Bomb Band Plays the Music of William Onyeabor in 2017.
