About

PGA and European Tour golfer famous for winning several major tournaments and a gold medal at the 2020 Olympics. In 2019, he placed second in the Masters. In 2017, he became the first golfer to achieve a bogey-free round of 66 in their first appearance in the US Open. He and his father release comedy golf videos under the title of "Golf Parents" and share clips from his rounds on his Xander Schauffele YouTube channel. 

Before Fame

He played on the golf team for San Diego State University during college. The first tournament he played in as a pro was the Web.com Tour Qualifying Tournament. 

Trivia

In college, he achieved four runners-up, three wins, 19 top-fives, and 27 top-tens. He won his sixth career PGA Tour title in 2022, at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut. He shares photos and videos from his matches as well as pictures with friends and family on his xanderschauffele Instagram page, which has gained 330,000 followers. 

Family Life

His father is French and German. His mother is Thai and grew up in Japan. His dad was his swing coach from a young age.
