About
After traumatic wartime experiences, an ex-soldier retreats to a quiet life as a ghostwriter. She spends her days trying to unravel the meaning behind her commanding officer's final words to her. The anime is based on Kana Akatsuki's light novel series.
Trivia
The series won the Best Animation award at the 2019 Crunchyroll Anime Awards. Its popularity spawned two spin-off movies.
