Eurodisco pop band who competed in the 1979 Eurovision Song Contest with their eponymous song "Dschinghis Khan." They are known for the hits "Moskau," "Rom," and "Hadschi Halef Omar." In 2018, they re-recorded "Moskau" with new lyrics for the FIFA World Cup.

The group's sound has been compared to Boney M. They earned Gold and platinum discs in countries including Germany, Japan, Australia, Korea, Holland, Belgium, Israel, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway and Finland.
