Before Fame
He attended South Knox High School, where he was a four-year all-conference selection and a two-time Indiana Junior Golf Player of the Year in 2006 and 2008. He attended Purdue University, where he majored in management and won two collegiate tournaments as a freshman. He began his professional career in 2015 on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica. His breakthrough came in June 2017 when he won the Lincoln Land Charity Championship in a four-man playoff. He won the Butterfield Bermuda Championship in November 2025.
Trivia
His favorite sports teams are the Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, and St. Louis Cardinals. He is a dog owner. He is one of the very few PGA Tour players who literally grew up surrounded by various types of golf-course grass, including fescue, zoysia, and bluegrass.
Family Life
He grew up on his family's 1,500-acre sod and grain farm in Vincennes, Indiana. He has one sister named Karen who publicly celebrated his PGA Tour card announcement in 2017. He has two children with Kourtney Schenk.
