Al Bangura

Former club midfielder that played soccer professionally for 12 years. Although he signed his first professional club contract with Watford F.C. of the English Premier League, he is best known for his years with the EFL League team, the Forest Green Rovers Football Club. He also played for the Sierra Leone men's national team during his professional career. 

Before Fame

As a teenager living in Guinea, he was kidnapped and sold into a human trafficking ring. He later escaped after moving to England. 

Trivia

After his performance with Watford during the 2005-06 club season, he was named Watford's Young Player of the Year. He was a key member of Watford's inaugural season in the English Premier League. 

Family Life

He was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone. He is the oldest of his siblings.
