Indian television actor and model who is best known for appearing in the TV series Parineetii, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Naagin 4, Bepanah Pyaar, Kumkum Bhagya, and the streaming series Dahaad. He is also known for his Instagram account @ankurvermaofficial where he shares updates about his acting projects and personal life.
Before fame
He initially became interested in performing arts and began training in theatre while studying at university. He studied in Delhi and completed a degree in electrical engineering before deciding to pursue acting professionally. He trained with Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts in Mandi House and also worked with theatre groups including MGR Theatre Group in Gurgaon. He moved to Mumbai in 2018 to pursue acting and began auditioning for television roles. He first appeared in a cameo role in the television show Kumkum Bhagya in 2019. He later appeared in the supernatural drama Naagin 4 in 2019 and the romantic drama Bepanah Pyaar also in 2019 which helped increase his visibility on television. His big break was being cast and appearing in the TV series Parineetii in 2022 where he played one of the central characters.
Trivia
He received a nomination at the Indian Telly Awards in 2025 for Fan Favorite Jodi for his role in Parineetii. He has appeared in over 1,000 episodes of Parineetii.
Family life
He was born and raised in Rohtak, Haryana, India. He married his longtime partner Leena Verma in 2026.
