Known for her modeling, acting, and television hosting work, she is particularly notable for her Fredericks of Hollywood and Venus Swimwear modeling work; for her recurring roles on Ally McBeal and Baywatch; and for her hosting, broadcasting, and/or sportscasting work on KCAL-TV (Los Angeles), ESPN, the NFL Network, Fox, and CBS.
She began her rise to fame as a cheerleader for the NBA team the Golden State Warriors and later cheered for the NFL teams the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers.
She established a nonprofit organization called Hounds and Heroes and a clothing company called DoublePlay Sportswear. She was employed by the L.A. Lakers, becoming the first woman to serve as an NBA talent scout.
