Before fame
She attended Los Alamitos High School where she played competitive basketball before continuing her athletic career at the collegiate level. She began her college basketball career at Hawai'i Pacific University before transferring to Western Washington University. She appeared in dozens of games for the WWU Vikings women's basketball team before she earned a degree in environmental studies with minors in energy policy and economics. Her path toward ceramics became more serious after a major ACL injury in 2020, and while taking a break from sports she signed up for a ceramics class. She committed to ceramics as a central creative focus by Fall 2020. She began transitioning into a full-time ceramic artist throughout 2021 and 2022 and began documenting her work online on TikTok and Instagram. She began participating in group exhibitions including "KILN: Earthenware and Beyond" at GR2 Gallery in 2024.
Trivia
Her art often uses basketballs as vessels. She has been featured in exhibitions such as Neko Show 2025 at Giant Robot. She was selected for the NBA All-Star Art Garden in 2026 presenting the installation "Hoop Dreams." She has produced custom ceramic work for organizations and brands including the WNBA, Nike, Amazon, Universal Studios, and Round21.
