Canadian singer-songwriter, ukulele player, and music producer who first rose to fame as the winner of CBC Music's Searchlight talent contest in 2016. After her victory, she released her debut solo album, "Wild Heart," in 2017. She later released the EP "Meet You at the Light" in 2021.

Before Fame

At an early age, she gained experience by performing at open mic events, recording covers, performing in cover bands, and working as a fulltime busker. 

Trivia

Her 2021 EP, "Meet You at the Light," was nominated for a Juno Award for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year in 2022. The album's eponymous track also achieved a Jury Award for Best Music Video at SXSW in 2022.

Family Life

Her mother is white French-Canadian from Ontario, while her father is African-American from South Carolina. She identifies as queer.
