Iranian American pop singer, songwriter, and dancer known for her hit singles such as "Spell On Me," "Indestructible," "What I Do," "Afterglow," "Swerve," and "Serenity," for her collaborative song "VooDoo," and for her albums Infinite Love and One Suitcase.

Before fame

She arrived in the United States when she was 14 years old and began ninth grade while still learning English. She attended Towson University before she began pursuing music fulltime. Her first released song was the Persian-language single "Love You" which was released in 2017. She released her debut English-language single "Spell On Me" in February 2020. She released her debut album Infinite Love in 2021. Her big break was releasing the collaborative song "VooDoo" in 2023. 

Trivia

She originally sang in Persian before she began singing and releasing songs in English. Her earliest music appeared under stage name Shabnam before she shortened it to Shab when she began releasing songs in English. She has worked extensively with producer Damon Sharpe who has helped craft songs like "Indestructible," "Afterglow," and "Swerve."

Family life

Her real name is Shabnam Kamoii. She was born in Tehran, Iran and spent parts of her early life in Europe before eventually relocating to the United States.
