Brazillian rapper, singer, and songwriter with 3.7 million followers on his exudoblues Instagram account. He posts selfies of himself, sometimes comically posing with a teddy bear.  He released his first solo album, Esu, in September of 2017. With the album, Baco was nominated for the 2017 APCA Trophy in the categories Breakthrough Artist, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. He is known for the bold metaphors he uses in his lyrics, across subjects such as sex, love, power, and religion. It was elected the 5th best Brazilian album of 2017 by Rolling Stone Brazil magazine.

Before Fame

He created his Baco Exu Do Blues YouTube channel in July of 2009. His first posts were from the EP Old Monkey. He gained popularity with the release of the track, "Sulicidio" in 2016, composed with rapper Diomedes Chinaski. He won a 2017 award for Best New Artist from the Multishow Award for Brazillian Music.

Trivia

He has 1.6 million subscribers on his self-titled YouTube channel, which has all of the songs and music videos that he produced. His "BACUS EXU DO BLUES - Me Sorry Jay-Z (ft. 1LUM3)" YouTube video went on to gain over 48 million views, making it one of his most popular.

In March of 2022, he posted a photo to Instagram of him and his father hugging, which has over 350,000 likes.
