American ufologist and former physician best known as the founder of The Disclosure Project, an initiative focused on uncovering government awareness of UFOs and extraterrestrial intelligence. He has also produced numerous documentaries including Sirius, Unacknowledged, and The Cosmic Hoax.
Before Fame
He developed a passion for space and extraterrestrial phenomena at a young age, especially after he allegedly witnessed a UFO when he was eight years old. He later went on to obtain his medical degree from East Tennessee State University before launching his professional career as an emergency room doctor.
Trivia
He established the Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI) in 1990. The center fosters "CE-5" (Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind) through practices such as meditation and coherent thought.
