About
Kyrgyzstani-born criminal who, along with his brother, was responsible for the April 15, 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. He was convicted of 30 charges, including use of a weapon in mass destruction, and sentenced to the death penalty.
Before Fame
He matriculated at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth in 2011. He was popular among his fellow students, and many of his college friends were shocked that he carried out the Boston Marathon bombings.
Trivia
He and his brother murdered an MIT police officer and carried out a carjacking immediately after orchestrating the Boston Marathon Bombings.
Family Life
He and his brother, Tamerlan, were born to a Chechen father named Anzor Tsarnaev and to an Avar mother named Zubeidat Tsarnaeva.
Associated With
He and Oklahoma City bomber, Timothy McVeigh, were both responsible for acts of terrorism.
