Singer, producer, composer, and multi-instrumentalist known for her genre-blending sound blending experimental electronic music, avant-pop, industrial textures, and psychedelic folk along with her projects Metalepsis, RIP Chrysalis, Irisiri, Phoenix: Flames Are Dew Upon My Skin, Powders, and the mixtape Trinity. She is also known for collaborating with artists like Caroline Polachek and FKA Twigs and for executive producing Lourdes Leon's debut EP as Lolahol.

Before fame

Her first full-length album Metalepsis was released in March 2015 which was followed later that year by RIP Chrysalis. She released Irisiri in 2018 which became a hit among her growing fanbase. She founded the label Chemical X in 2019 and released the mixtape Trinity under that label that same year. She continued with her releases with Phoenix: Flames Are Dew Upon My Skin in 2020 which was composed during an artist residency in Spain.

Trivia

She is a multi-instrumentalist who plays piano, guitar, and keyboards in addition to producing her own music. She collaborated with Sega Bodega on a charity covers project benefiting the AIM COVID-19 Crisis Fund in 2020. 

Family life

Her real name is Alexandra Drewchin. She was born in northeastern Pennsylvania to a Russian father and a British mother. She has one child who was born in 2025.
