Pakistani television, theatre, and film actress known for her work in the shows Ranjish, Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi, Sannata, Deewangi, Prem Gali, Churails, Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam, Mrs. & Mr. Shameem, Barzakh, and for her praised performance as Babra in the thriller series Serial Killer. She is also known for her work in the films Laal Kabootar and Dum Mastam. 

Before fame

She entered the entertainment industry at a young age. She made her screen debut in 1996 with the PTV drama Ranjish. Her first feature film appearance was in Laal Kabootar in 2019. She started seeing a big boost in her career in the early 2020s after appearing in multiple shows popular on streaming services in Pakistan. She starred in Serial Killer in 2023-2024 which she received praise for.

She spent more than two decades working entirely in television and theatre before appearing in her first feature film. She is also known for her Instagram account @faizagillani where she shares behind-the-scenes and promotional moments from her acting projects, set photos, fashion content, and personal snapshots from her life with over 120,000 followers.

She was born and raised in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. She has two children.
