Before fame
He began playing classical piano when he was 8 years old. His early classical training led him to perform at Carnegie Hall as a teenager. He gravitated toward songwriting as a teen and experimented with both pop and electronic elements. He relocated to Los Angeles in his early 20s. He released his debut single "Home Alone" in 2017. He released his hit collaborative song "Love Don't Cost A Thang" in 2020.
Trivia
His first song recording was made as an iPhone voice memo, and the raw one-take demo of "Home Alone" became the officially released song. He often prefers working outside traditional studios and has produced most of his music from home.
