Singer who became a star in Nepali pop music with such songs as "Mero Baba," "Timi Ra Ma" and "Rato Ghanghara." She is also known for her time as a judge on the singing competition Nepal Idol.
She hails from Kathmandu, Nepal and won numerous music contests during her youth. She attended the music school Doreni Sangeet Pathshala.
She was one of the 365 Nepali artists who sang on the song "Melancholy," which set the Guinness World Record for "Most Vocal Solos in a Song Recording."
She credits her grandmother with introducing her to Bhajan music.
She has collaborated with Iraj Weeraratne on several songs, including "Behuli" and "Timi Ra Ma."
