Head coach of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and former professional ice hockey player. He became interim head coach of the Oilers in February 2022, and after a successful run to the Western Conference Finals, he was signed to remain as the head coach in a three-year deal. He was undrafted in the NHL, but played for various teams between 2000 and 2005 before retiring and becoming a coach.

He was a child actor, playing Bobby Moore in the 1986 film Separate Vacations.
Trivia
He started off as an assistant coach with the San Jose Sharks in 2008. In 2018, he was appointed the head coach of the Oiler's American Hockey League affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors.

He grew up in Don Mills, Ontario, Canada. He and his wife Jaclynn have twin daughters.
