Kenyan gospel and inspirational singer, content creator, and YouTuber known for his channel johGE254 where he shares worship performances, original songs, and viral music videos along with the songs such as "Hold My Hand," "Holding On," "It's You," "I Choose You," "What Else Do I Need," "Promises," "More Than Anything," "Way Maker," "Omemma," and "Hello," as well as for his online worship brand and live events like The Holding On Live Experience. He is also known for having created highly convincing and edited videos that made it appear as though he was a contestant on AGT singing emotional worship songs.

Before fame

He began building his audience through social media by sharing short-form worship and singing videos online beginning in 2024. He began releasing official music online in 2025 and 2026 after his fabricated America's Got Talent videos began circulating. 

Trivia

He created the virtual worship event The Holding On Live Experience in 2026 which was marketed to viewers in over 100 countries. He drew controversy after fact checkers found that at least one of his viral America's Got Talent-style videos had been digitally altered to make the performance look real.

Family life

His real name is George Nyoro. He was born and raised in Kenya and eventually based his work in Nairobi.
