Filipino politician and Ang Kapatiran Party member who served on the Olongapo City Council from 1995-1998 and from 2007-2010.
He studied theology at the Franciscan University of Steubenville in the United States. After returning to his native country, he earned both a master's degree in public administration and a law degree.
He briefly taught philosophy at the University of Asia and the Pacific.
With his wife, Dunia Valenzuela-de los Reyes, he raised three children.
In 2010, he and Eddie Villanueva both ran unsuccessful campaigns for the Philippine presidency.
