NFL running back who was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He previously played college football at the University of Texas, where he earned Second-Team All-Big 12 honors in 2023.

Before fame

He played football and basketball at Hallettsville High School. As a senior, he rushed for 3,530 yards and 62 touchdowns, helping Hallettsville reach the 3A Division I state championship game.

Trivia

In his final season at the University of Texas, he rushed for 1,139 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2023 before a knee injury ended his season. He was also a 2023 Doak Walker Award semifinalist and a finalist for the 2023 Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award.

Family life

He was born and raised in Hallettsville, Texas. His father passed away in March 2022, and he has a tattoo commemorating the date of his father's death.

He spent two seasons at the University of Texas alongside fellow NFL running back Bijan Robinson before taking over as the Longhorns' starting running back in 2023.
