Before fame

She experimented with short-form clips, personal commentary, and engagement-building in the year 2023 into early 2024 but her breakout was when she launched her laptop-based livestream speed dating show on TikTok.

Her breakout idea began with just $600, a ring light, and her laptop when she decided to host a casual speed-dating night on TikTok Live. Her fanbase is known as "Team White Braids." She had amassed a significant number of followers in a short time by mid-2024.

Family life

She was raised in Yuma, Arizona where she has spoken about the challenges of growing up Black and queer in a small conservative town with little representation.
