She graduated from Blackstone-Millville Regional High School before going on to obtain her bachelor's degree in kinesiology and exercise science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2015.

She and her husband intentionally chose to marry in New York so that their dog, Wally, could be listed as an official witness to their nuptials. After accompanying his parents down the aisle, Wally also played a meaningful role in the ceremony when his inked paw print was placed on the official marriage certificate. The special moment drew widespread attention across social media and news outlets, including The Dodo and Good Morning America.

Family Life

She and her then-fiancé, Tom Kuchenreuther, adopted their Golden Retriever, Wally, when he was just eight weeks old in 2020. They tied the knot at a ceremony that prominently featured their beloved pup in October 2025.
