Before Fame

She and her family grew up in the remote mining province of Inta, Komi Republic. After they moved to the large city of Perm, she won local beauty contests as a preteen. She has studied at CODE in Perm. She has also worked for the Perm Chamber Theatre of New Drama.

Her full name is Katerina Anatolievna Shpitsa. Her mother Galina Karpovskaya Shpitsa was an attorney. Her father Anatoly Shpitsa was a miner. Her 5-year marriage to Konstantin Adayev ended in 2015. She has one son, German, from that marriage.
