Before Fame
He played defensive end at Pleasant Grove High School. His high school career led him to commit to Louisiana State University, where he played as a true freshman in 2021. He then transferred to the University of Arkansas in 2022, where he became a key contributor to the Razorbacks' defense. His collegiate success caught the attention of NFL scouts. He was then selected by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Trivia
He served as a two-time captain for the Razorbacks. He was named the Texas Sports Writers Association 4A Defensive Player of the Year and received MaxPreps First-Team All-American honors while he was still in high school. He recorded a 4.68-second 40-yard dash and a 40-inch vertical leap.
