He is also known for being part of a duo with his close friend Jason Leboucher, a duo known for their album Vérité.

Before Fame

He grew up in an area affected heavily by drugs and hardship, which was an environment that shaped both his worldview and his commitment to music. He released his first single online "Laba" in 2020 followed by "Si Ou Les" with Jason Leboucher in 2020. He released his first solo album Feel Zafr La in 2021.

He and his friend Jason Leboucher struggled with addiction but rebuilt their lives together as teenagers. His songs are performed in Mauritian Creole.

Family Life

His real name is Madyson Jean. He was born and raised in Barkly, Beau Bassin-Rose Hill, Mauritius. His song "Laba" was written in memory of his sister who died as a result of domestic violence.
