Before fame
She started training at On Your Toes Academy of Dance when she was three years old and learned how to dance in various styles including contemporary, jazz, lyrical, ballet, and hip-hop. She competed regularly in national dance competitions during her childhood and as a teenager. She attended Adlai E. Stevenson High School and performed with the school's varsity dance team the Stevenson Patriettes while she continued competing in studio dance competitions.
