Professional New Zealand rugby player known for playing for the Black Fern Sevens, representing New Zealand in the Summer Olympics 2020, being an Olympic gold medalist, and for being a two-time World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year.

Before Fame

She began playing rugby when she was 5 years old. She played rugby and also ran track and field for New Plymouth Girls High School. She was selected for rugby sevens' Olympic debut at Rio 2016 as a reserve player.

Trivia

She is passionate about manifestation and visualization for her goals. She struggled with body image issues as a teenager and is open about speaking up about recovering from these issues.

Family Life

She grew up on a rural dairy farm in New Zealand. Both of her parents were former professional rugby players. She has three brothers.
