Before fame
She began long-track speedskating at a young age after initially learning how to roller skate. She joined Wisconsin Speed Skating Club as her primary training club while rising through the ranks of U.S. Speedskating development programs. She progressed through domestic competition circuits including the AmCup series and U.S. Junior Championships during the early 2020s. She won the women's team pursuit at the U.S. Winter World Cup Qualifiers and Junior Championships in January 2024 as part of a three-skater team. She competed at the ISU World Junior Speed Skating Championships in 2024 in the categories 1500m, 3000m, and team pursuit. She continued to be active in junior and open long-track competition into 2025 and 2026.
Trivia
She was named a U.S. Speedskating Long Track Development Skater of the Year in 2021. She also enjoys and participates in track and field, volleyball, Serbian Folk dance, and inline skating outside of speedskating. She loves art, watercolor painting, and drawing. She speaks English, Bulgarian, and Serbian.
