Country and folk singer and songwriter known for his emotionally raw songwriting and for his viral breakout song "68" along with his other songs such as "Wicked Ways," "Darkness," "Holding On," "Love Until We Die," "I Belong in Your Arms," and "Everblue." He is also known for his self-titled debut album Nolan Taylor. 

Before fame

He was introduced to music at a young age through his father. He initially learned to play banjo before transitioning to playing the guitar. He was heavily involved in sports during his youth including wrestling, and he did not initially plan to pursue music as a career. He eventually began playing guitar more seriously and writing songs as an emotional outlet. He started performing live at open mic nights around 2016. He began releasing music independently around 2018 including early recordings such as "Realize." He experienced a major career turning point in 2023 when a video of him performing "68" for Radio WV went viral. He released the EP Life & Love in 2023. He released his self-titled debut album Nolan Taylor in January 2025.

Trivia

He has been signed with Atlantic Records. He contributed the song "Driving You Home" to Twisters: The Album which expanded his work into film soundtrack projects. He has said his viral breakthrough happened just after he had considered quitting music entirely. He made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2023.

Family life

He grew up in Blanchester, Ohio, and was raised in a working-class household. He grew up with financial instability and family struggles, including his mother's battle with addiction and mental health issues. He has a close bond with his father and older brother.
