Before Fame
He began his early career in Perth by playing junior football for Whitford Junior Football Club before developing through the West Perth WAFL system. He broke out nationally in 2017 when he captained Western Australia's Under-18 team, won the Larke Medal, and was drafted by West Coast with pick 21 in the AFL National Draft. He played for the West Coast Eagles from 2018 until 2025 when he began playing for the Brisbane Lions.
Trivia
He won the 2017 Larke Medal as the best player at the AFL Under-18 Championships, earned an AFL Rising Star nomination in 2019, and was selected for the 22Under22 team in 2021. He was also West Coast's Leading Goalkicker in 2023 after kicking a career-high 53 goals.
Family Life
He grew up in Perth, Western Australia. His older brother Gareth Allen represented Australia in lacrosse and won a bronze medal at the 2010 World Lacrosse Championship in Manchester. His brother Angus Allen has played for West Perth's reserves in the WAFL system.
