Indian former actress, model, reality television personality, and digital creator who became known for becoming a motivational speaker after leaving the entertainment industry along with her family-focused lifestyle vlogs and motivational content. She first became known for her work in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu films. for appearing on the popular Indian reality show Bigg Boss 6 in 2012, and for her role in the Bollywood film Jai Ho.  

Before fame

She started her career as a model by appearing in commercials and print advertisements. She appeared in numerous films, television shows, music videos, and advertising campaigns and also became known for appearing in reality programs while she was working entertainment. Her mainstream breakthrough came when she participated in Bigg Boss Season 6 in 2012. She publicly announced that she was leaving the entertainment industry to focus on her faith and humanitarian work in October 2020. She launched a successful YouTube vlogging channel in 2022 after leaving the entertainment industry.

She participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 6 in 2015. She is also the founder of beauty and wellness ventures such as Face Spa by Sana Khan and Haya by Sana Khan which focus on skincare and modest fashion. She dramatically changed her career path by leaving a successful acting career at its peak in order to focus on being a motivational content creator and speaker. 

Family life

She was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her father was a Malayali Muslim from Kerala while her mother Saeeda is from Mumbai. She married Islamic scholar and businessman Mufti Anas Saiyad on in November 2020 in Surat, Gujarat, India. She welcomed her first child in July 2023.
