Indian politician who was initially a member of India's Prajarajyam Party. She served four terms in the Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh before joining the regional YSR Congress Party.
She began her political career in the mid-1990s, first being elected to the Assembly as a member of the Telugu Desam Party.
She was killed in an automobile accident while on the campaign trail in 2014.
She was the daughter of politician S. V. Subba Reddy and the sister of S.V. Mohan Reddy, also a politician. Her marriage to Member of Parliament Bhuma Nagireddy produced a son and two daughters.
She was a contemporary of fellow Indian politician Rahul Gandhi.
