Before fame
He fell in love with house music when he was around 10 years old after older friends gave him mixtapes recorded in underground clubs in Algiers. He started his DJ career when he was 18 years old after buying his first vinyl turntables and becoming involved in the Paris club scene. He released his Welcome To The Hood EP on CUFF in 2014 and his Third Eye EP on Dirtybird in 2016,

He is a self-taught producer. He is the co-founder of the Mood Child label along with Manda Moor. He is also known for his Instagram account @sirushood where he shares DJ sets, tour clips, house music releases, Mood Child updates, and behind-the-scenes moments from his international performances with his followers.
