College basketball coach who won three straight WAC Coach of the Year awards from 2009 to 2011, all during his tenure at Utah State.
In 1974, he started his coaching career as an assistant at Gonzaga.
He played college basketball at Ricks College and Gonzaga University.
He had four children with his wife Vicki: Jesse, Allan, Nicole, and Tiffany.
In 2009, his Utah State team lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to Jimmy Butler and Marquette by a single point, 58-57.
