Indian educator, interviewer, motivational speaker, digital content creator, and Youtuber known for his mock UPSC interview videos and the conversation platform Please Sit Down along with being known for evaluating civil service aspirants in simulated interviews and sharing commentary about personality development, communication, and public life. He is also known for his YouTube account which has amassed well over 1.8 million subscribers.

Before fame

He attended Delhi University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in 1993, followed by a Bachelor of Education in 1994, a Master of Arts in Hindi in 1996, and an M.Phil in 1997. He then completed a Ph.D. in Hindi in 2002. His academic career began soon afterward in 2005 when he joined Zakir Husain Delhi College and became a faculty member in the Department of Hindi. He gradually became involved in personality development sessions and mock interviews for UPSC aspirants and helping students prepare for one of India's most competitive civil service examinations. He began sharing early content on YouTube in the late 2000s. He launched the podcast Cazual Talk with Vijender Chauhan in 2023.

He became widely known online after clips from his mock interviews went viral on social media including a moment where his pronunciation of the word "casual" as "kazual" became a popular meme among students. He has served in several academic leadership roles at Zakir Husain Delhi College including Media Committee Incharge, Debating Society Convener, and Teacher-in-Charge of the Hindi Department. He received the Bhartendu Harishchandra Award for Media Writing in 2000.
