Qatari golfer, sports advocate, and author known for becoming one of the first women to represent Qatar in competitive golf.
Before fame
She discovered golf at a young age and trained in Doha's growing golf scene before entering competitive play. Her breakthrough came in 2008 when she joined the Qatar National Golf Team and becoming one of the earliest women to do so. Her first major international appearance was at the Arab Championship in Morocco in 2011. She had represented Qatar in multiple regional tournaments by 2015 including the GCC Championship in Kuwait.
Trivia
She published her book The Girl Who Loved to Golf in 2024.S he received a Businesswomen Award in 2013 for leadership in sports. She has been featured in content connected to the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. She earned a master's degree in Olympic event management in Greece.

She is also known as Yasmine Ghanem Al-Sharshani. She was born and raised in Qatar.
