Before fame

After initially performing as a member of a local melodic deep house duo called "Something Good," he launched his solo project and officially broke onto the global electronic radar in 2014. He cemented his professional solo career on a massive scale when he signed his debut solo EP, Memento, to the British deep house label Anjunadeep in 2015.

Trivia

As a teenager, he was heavily involved in skate culture, which uniquely shaped his broad, eclectic appreciation for West Coast hip-hop and heavy metal bands like Iron Maiden. He spent his childhood taking classical piano lessons until the age of 14, giving him the foundational melodic skills he uses to produce his complex tracks today. He is also an entrepreneur who founded his own highly successful record label imprint called Odd One Out.

Family life

He grew up in a very musically inclined household alongside his family. He has a younger brother who is also a talented musician and vocalist, and the two have combined their talents on multiple occasions, with his brother performing vocals on Yotto's famous track "Wondering" under the artist alias Caps.
